Holy Pause: When God says “Stop!”

Psalm 116:7 instructs us – “Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you.” In His goodness, we’re drawn to come back to the place of rest. That’s where His goodness is discovered. As we come to the end of the year, may we remember where we came from. What started from a place of rest in God cannot end in strife. We need to honour this holy pause.
