Two months ago, I began experiencing persistent pain in my back, specifically around my right scapula. The pain radiated to my neck, shoulders, and forearm. Its intensity fluctuated and moved, often leaving me in discomfort and uncertainty.
Despite recommendations from kind friends to seek treatment such as physiotherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), or chiropractic care, I chose to press into prayer for healing, standing firmly on God’s promises.
During this time, I often declared, “Jesus paid a high price for my healing. Healing is the children’s bread,” and I committed to regular communion as an act of faith. However, the pain lingered for many weeks, testing my faith and perseverance.
In late November, while traveling to Dubai, the pain intensified, severely affecting my sleep. I would wake up every hour, overwhelmed by discomfort. Upon returning, I decided to visit a general practitioner, seeking relief and advice before a planned family trip to Japan. The doctor suggested I might have a pinched nerve and recommended an MRI. He also prescribed painkillers to help me manage the pain during my trip.
During my trip to Japan, the pain fluctuated but was not as debilitating as before. Throughout this period, I continued to pray, declaring God’s promises and believing for healing, even as I wrestled with moments of doubt about pursuing medical intervention.
Then, on the morning of December 29th, I woke up completely pain-free! The sharp, reverberating pain that had troubled me for two months was gone. All that remained is a slight tightness in my muscles, which eases with simple stretching.
I am confident and grateful that Jesus has healed me! This healing reminds me of the power of faith, perseverance, and God’s promises. As I reflect on this journey, I see how God sustained me even in the waiting, and I am filled with praise and gratitude.
Praise the Lord! Jesus is faithful, and His healing power is real. To Him be all the glory!
