Some of the most bizarre accounts in the Bible contain the most amazing lessons. Is there something important we can learn from the account of Noah getting drunk and naked? You bet! In fact, there’s a sobering and important truth we need to learn to walk in today, more than ever before.

Sermon: The Plight of Lostness

In Luke 15, the lost sheep, the lost coin, the lost son all have this in common: they all belonged to their owner. None of these parables describe a person searching for something that did not belong to them in the first place. They all tell of the owner’s desire to bring that which is already theirs back where it belongs. We’ve all had the experience of losing something valuable in our lives, the grief of losing it, what we did to find it and the exceeding joy when it was recovered. Jesus came to seek and to save the lost. Our mandate is to do whatever we can to reach those who are spiritually lost and rescue them out of the plight of lostness.
