A Celebration of Moms
Mother’s Day Weekend Special

Someone once said, “The loveliest masterpiece of the heart of God is the heart of a mother.” Truly, mothers are a beautiful masterpiece God gave to us and we’re so thankful for them.

Join us in a celebration of moms this weekend – biological, spiritual, and even foster mothers!

“No language can express the power and beauty and heroism of a mother’s love.” —Edwin Chapin

A Man’s Desperate Prayer For Power

Ephesians 3:14 is the second prayer by Paul in the book of Ephesians. The apostle is explaining that it’s not enough to have an objective knowledge of the love of God, but an intimate, personal experience of it. In a culture where so many are desperate for outward forms of happiness, instead of a transformation of their inner beings, the message of this prayer is vital. We should seek profound, life-changing spiritual experiences of the fullness of God.

SPEAKER BIO

Peter Prothero joined the leadership team of Equippers in 2006 – a church-planting movement with congregations in 20 different countries. Under his leadership, Equippers Surrey went from a church of 35 people to over 1,000 in 11 years, functioning in 4 locations. After handing over the senior role of leadership to his executive pastor, he went on to be part of the Equippers Global Team, serving churches throughout Europe, the Middle East, America and Australasia. His passion is in equipping believers, and his gifting lies in the areas of leadership, teaching and the prophetic. He and his wife, Jacquie, have a son, 5 daughters and 2 grandsons, and now reside in West London.

SERMON TITLE

Hiddenness and Manifestation

In certain seasons of our lives, we may feel the Presence of God more tangibly, and it’s almost effortless to sense His nearness. We treasure these intimate moments with Him. However, there’ll also be seasons where God seems distant or even absent. The manifestation of His Presence that we used to enjoy is lost. Was it something we did? What’s really happening when God doesn’t seem to be present?
