A Heart After God’s

When the Bible refers to King David, it calls him by a name it never would anyone else. Acts 13:22 refers to David as ‘a man after God’s own heart, who will do all His will.’ God has a great love for King David, mistakes and all. Why is that? What does it mean to be a person after God’s heart? Let’s posture our hearts to be like His!

Jesus, The Face of God

Christmas is here and it behooves us to take another look at Jesus and why He came – not just to die, but to reveal who God is! Jesus is the ultimate revelation and expression of His Father. Following Him and His example is following God.


The word ‘Father’ conjures up many thoughts and feelings in all of us – some good and some not. ‘Daddy’ is the deep cry of every child for safety and significance. God is our Father and He wants to draw us close to Him to first make us feel safe and then go and be significant. This father-child relationship is the bedrock of Christianity.
